22 years in civil engineering contracting working as a Safety Advisor, Manager and at Principal Department Manager level managing a safety team. Projects undertaken in the marine civil engineering field; quay construction, marine piling, new and replacement lock gates, wreck removal, surveying. Other civil engineering experience reservoirs, CSO pumping stations, treatment plant structures, dams, bridges, piling, steel frames and RC concrete works, extensive bespoke temporary works systems in the UK, Europe and Africa.
Qualified as a CITB Trainer and Lecturer for health and safety courses up to NEBOSH level and as Lead Auditor for BS EN ISO 9001
